The Awards will be presented at vForum Mumbai, at Taj Lands End, November 1, 2011. Submissions of nominations close on October 18, 2011.
Whether its server consolidation, desktop optimization or cloud computing, you can’t deny the business-critical nature of virtualization in Indian organizations. To gauge the technology’s presence, the team at SearchDataCenter.in recently delved further into the role of virtualization, cloud computing and IT as a Service in Indian businesses. We discovered that virtualization and cloud computing are now implemented in a myriad innovative ways, pushing the envelope on how IT can deliver tangible business benefits — ensuring business growth, significant ROI, better service delivery, and improved efficiency in an agile manner.
This led us to institute a mechanism to honor Indian end-user organizations that have excelled in their approach to virtualization, cloud computing and IT as a Service. Co-sponsored by TechTarget’s SearchDataCenter.in website and VMware, The Best of vForum 2011 awards recognize IT leaders who are delivering extraordinary value to their businesses. Considering the extensive nature of these deployments, the Awards have been divided into three categories:
- Innovation Excellence – This category recognizes an organization that has used VMware’s technology in new or innovative ways, pushing the envelope on how virtualization or cloud computing can deliver tangible business benefits. Projects worthy of consideration include virtualized desktop implementations, business continuity solutions and business critical application modernization, among others.
- Outstanding Business Value – Here, the spotlight is on an organization that has realized significant ROI on its virtualization or cloud computing projects through cost savings, new business opportunities or revenue growth, better service delivery, or overall efficiency and agility improvements.
- IT As A Service Leadership – In this category, we will recognize an organization that has demonstrated exceptional maturity and sophistication in its approach to virtualization and cloud computing. Successful nominees may have created a private cloud, hybrid cloud strategy or relied on virtualization as a means for revolutionizing IT service delivery within their companies.
Nominations are now open for this year’s edition of The Best of vForum 2011 Awards, with the last submission date of October 18, 2011. Do not miss out on applying for these awards. Any questions please contact us.
